Get The Most Out Of Pigments

Recently I've been dipping my toe into the pigment side of the pool.
I've been constantly testing out whats the best base for my pigments and getting the hang of them.

[L to R, No base Light Layer, No base Heavy Layer Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and on Bronze, Mac Fix +]

The pigment I'm using is MAC Copper which is my obsession for the evening time.

Light Layer: Pigments are intense so when wearing them during the day you may want to tone it down i found that applying a thin layer is really pretty and not too in your face.

Heavy Layer: This one is with no base, its still intense but it looks more like a pressed pigment so adding that base really makes it pop. I found it lasts much longer with a creamy base under!

Cream Shadow Base: I used the Color Tattoo in On and on Bronze and found that it made the pigment more shimmery than all the others i tested.

MAC Fix +: If your after a foiled intense lid colour than wet your brush with Fix + and you'll get it.

My favourite method to apply it is with a flat shader brush and applying a creamy base. Pigments are so stunning as a all over lid colour and really creates a dramatic eye!

Whats your favourite pigment?
Lemme know, Summa x
